A CALL TO DISCIPLESHIP

Sometimes we get so comfortable in our Christian lives that we forget we are called by Jesus to go out and make disciples and teach them about Him (Matthew 28:18-20). A disciple is a learner; one who receives instruction. Jesus taught His disciples both formally and informally as He interacted with them and with others. The same idea was emphasized by the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 11:1 where he says, "Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ."
Mature Christian women have much to offer their younger Christian sisters, most of it by their faithful study of Scripture, but also by simply having lived through the daily challenges of being wives, mothers, and women of faith in our society today. This book defines Christian discipleship, and outlines what, where, when, and how to put it into practice.
